*Today is a great day to celebrate your naïveté.
A day to recognize that you really don’t have a clue about what’s going on.
And that’s ok.
With all the happenings going on in the universe to all the happenings going on inside your cells. From the rush of air coming out of the vents in your skin, to the way your furry friends hair hangs. We don’t really know what’s going on here. It’s just a process that we are a part of.
Accepting that you don’t know, helps to break through the perceived achieved intellectual knowledge you have, to the direct experience of the limitless infinite nature of reality.
It’s when you open yourself up to the infinite possibilities of life that they will actually show up. Your certainty of knowledge is a trap that keeps your sense of self in a small shell.
“I don’t know” is one of the biggest allowances you can ever give yourself. To be open and to begin to experience all that you truly are.
We believe things because we do not know. No one has to tell you to believe in the sun shining. Truth is like that. It requires no belief, only awareness of experience.
If you get still often, you get a better sense of it. It’s just very interesting, that’s all. It doesn’t have to be some mystical concept that you have to achieve. It’s part of the human experience, and you being human, can experience it if you so choose to focus your attention.
We all have that feeling of centrality.
That your experience of the world only exists from your vantage point.
That the world revolves around you.
And from your point of view, it does. Just like all the rest of us here.
Everyone shares that same feeling of “I”.
We all call ourselves “I”.
So in some ways, We are all the same “I”.
I hope you take some time now and then to contemplate the actual life experience you are.
This moment right here and now.
Breath in deep and relax.
It’s all we ever really have.
Psst. Theres a little Alan Watts tied in towards the end there.
